For Sale Five large black and white group photographs of Student Gardeners and Staff at Kew Gardens 1936 to 1941, mounted but not framed.

These are top quality professional photographs, full of detail - the pictures below don't do them justice. These photos will enable you to put faces to names for aroud 150 gardeners at Kew.

1) 1936. No captions. photograph 11.5 x 9.25 in, mount 18 x 14 in. photo in very good condition, mount has some staining with age, photographer: P.W.German, Electric and daylight studios 301 St Margarets Road Twickenham, Backstamp on rear of mount and photographers name in pencil on face of mount. Depicts 63 men - in the front row is a shield for the Kew Guild - of the Royal Kew gardens. Photographers job no on rear is 18649

2) 1937. With mount naming all the individuals. photograph 11 x 9 in, mount 21 x 16 in. photo in very good condition, mount in good condition, photographer: P.W.German, Electric and daylight studios 301 St Margarets Road Twickenham, Backstamp on rear of mount and photographers name in pencil on face of mount. Photographers job no on rear is 18650. Depicts 63 men - in the front row is a shield for the Kew Guild - of the Royal Kew gardens. Names on the mount are:
